it was actually real solid. all that stuff and more on bumpy singletrack without problems.
but yea, the little canti racks from SJS or bike-discount are probs a safer bet @slothy, but his fork didnt have a hole in the crown or allow for mounting stays down by the QR, so this was the best bet

that looks sketchy .. i'd just get a canti rack and zip tie the basket on that
