Affinity Photo has some quirks but for my use a solid replacement for Photoshop. Keyboard shortcuts are also mostly the same, the UIX is a bit different but just takes getting used to.
Clone, heal, repair and general photo editing an also be done in Capture One. Which does render slightly better than Lightroom.
Added bonus is less Adobe crapware you do not need and better use of system resources.
I'd really like to cancel my Adobe subscription this year - I guess I use Photoshop mostly for either retouching or comping stuff together. I could keep it (as I still use After Effects a bit) but have moved almost entirely over to Resolve for video and hate paying 50 quid a month for something I'm just not using.
Will look into Affinity Photo/Darktable/Pixelmator etc. I thought Sketch was great for designy stuff, so mainly I want something with comparable tools like healing/cloning/selection etc. Anything out there fit the bill? I've used GIMP before and didn't get on with it.
