  • Dortmund are all over us. Need to hold our nerve and get ourselves into this game. Need to get our foot on the ball and slow the tempo down, or be more precise on the counter when we get the opportunity..

    Re: Ajax. Get in!

  • Ajax are very impressive.

It's disgusting that their captain is only 19.

  • Fuck yeah! Get in Harry!
Dortmund need to score 5 to prise this from us.
QF @ the new stadium hopefully.

  • This is fucking mental

  • Ajax team. full of youngsters. Real are nothing impressive this year but i expected them to go through tonight

  • Lads, it's Real Madrid

  • Great result tonight. Under the cosh all of the first half. Still don’t know how we got Lloris for £11m, he’s a great keeper. Kept us afloat and harry stole a goal to take the wind out of Dortmund’s sails.
Sissoko was immense, as was super jan and the rest of the defense. Sanchez shrugged off a shaky start to look pretty untroubled after our goal.
Really glad we’ve got another champions league match this season. Hopefully in the new stadium.

  • I think you were probably the only one watching that game.

Seeing the crying fascists was great.

  • Nah I know of at least two others.
Love the fact that Ajax got through though,
but I'm all about the achievement of Spurs tonight. Great performance across the two legs, we've got ourselves into the quarter finals of the champions league and we're getting healthy (winks aside) at the right time.
Can't wait for the draw for the quarters.

  • You got Ian Walker for nothing and he’s won more than Lloris. That’s value.

  • Spurs v Citeh in the QFs? 1 in 7 chance...

You got Ian Walker for nothing and he’s won more than Lloris. That’s value.

Not club but Lloris did win a WC.

  • Ooh boy, that Ajax game... Fantastic... Hazard must stay after a performance like that, a bird in the hand, etc...

  • amazing result esp doing it in Madrid, Id hoped that it would be a classic case of young energetic skill sweeping aside the old guard. Well in Ajax

  • the other wording thing with the Hazard transfer is Real will Chuck huge amounts of money at over hauling the team

  • The absolute comedy of Ramos intentionally getting a yellow card in the 1st leg so he could have a nice rest for the easy return fixture.

  • That's true but, like I say, would he up stakes at this stage in his career to start a new project at Real? He's a bit old to build a team around, no?

Worst case scenario for me would be Hazard and CHO leaving, I probably want CHO to stay more than I do Hazard... Future and all that, amazing to think he's only 18 and that good already...

  • Fascist hubris, hilarious... 😂

  • Yeah maybe just that little bit old I hope he stays. I forgot about Ramos getting that extra ban makes it just that little bit sweeter.

  • Tho' it would've been great to see them knock out the Bin Dippers in the next round...

  • Youth system in action right there.
Though you got me looking at that ‘99 league cup winning team.
Come a long way from a midfield of
Allan Nielsen, steffen freund, Anderton and ginola. Proper 442 under George Graham.

Also made me look at Lloris wiki page and we got him from Lyon when he was 26, had been their first choice keeper for 4 years, and he cost us 11m with 5m of add-ons.
For comparison 24 year old kepa cost Chelsea 71m.
Frightens me to think what we’d have to pay to get a keeper of equivalent quality if Lloris left..

  • You're comparing apples and oranges to suit your twisted Spursy agenda... Prices have gone nuts in the last seven years, don't be a div...

You should get Ian Walker back, great hair... 🤮

  • The Arrizablaga comparison is wrong. Chelsea overpaid for him as there was an urgent need to replace Courtois and Allison had gone to Liverpool.

I would also like to think it s wrong because, although Lloris has won the World Cup, he is not the keeper that Kepa is today and is certainly not the keeper that Kepa will develop to be.

Perhaps Real Madrid would let you have Courtois on the cheap.

  • You're comparing apples and oranges to suit your twisted Spursy agenda

Yet again, TS expresses the situation far more succinctly.

  • he is not the keeper that Kepa is today

because he listens to the coach?
