Could this not be the case in skiing? I follow cycling a bit but skiing not so much, but I get the feeling that cycling is a few years ahead of other sports when it comes to doping and how it's managed?
Isn’t cross country skiing the sport with the highest dependence on aerobic capacity?
Also there is a much longer out of competition season, so plenty of time for doping.
