Green card for European motoring - you can't get them for the period of your insurance (from Locktons, anyway) but rather you have to get them per-trip, and it takes two weeks to generate one.
So if you fancy popping to Morzine at the weekend you'd better have asked for the green card a couple of weeks ago, or you are flying.
