Anyone got a kids mountain bike available? Looking for an 8 year old so probably 24 inch wheels. Looking for something decent with suspension. Anything doing?

something decent with suspension
These things generally don't go together on a kids bike. Secondhand Isla if you can afford it or a frog, or look into https://thebikeclub.co

Some bits for sale:
Steve Goff 55cm Reynolds 631/725 Steel Road Frameset - £100
with brakes, seatpost and headset. The fork has some rubbing to the inside of the crown area, I'll add pics if anyone is interested. I was riding it, though I don't know if a shop would recommend it.The frame has huge clearance at the back, and probably up to around 29mm at the front. It rides fantastically - I've used it as an out-and-out road bike for a couple of years now. It has eyelets for mudguards and a rack and could be used as a light tourer. I've dreamt of getting a custom steel low-trail fork for this and making it a randonneur.Nitto M177 'Noodle' bar, 26.0mm x 42cm ctc, silver, £15 (£10 with the above frame)
Great classic drop bars with nice ergonomic wobblesBeater Front Disc Wheel - Deore 6-bolt hub, not very true - £10
Shimano RS10/unknown 10speed wheelset - £55
Great if you're thinking about trying out road riding. Not sure on the state of the cassette, it's probably fine though2x Vittoria XM Pro 34c tyres £10
Worn but have succeeded to keep me upright in mud that's way beyond my abilit1x Fulcrum Racing Quattro Rear Wheel £35
A fairly good wheel, but a bit beaten up. SS kit not included. -

I'm clearing out my garage in north MCR and need to shift a load of stuff. If you can get here I'll take reasonable offers on allsorts. Highlights include:
- 58cm Orbit America frame. Ratty but cool paint and a slight BB shell issue. Drive-side threads may be a bit worn due to a cup working its way loose on a ride
- Campag Mirage x Mavic wheels. Wheels run true but bearings could do with some TLC.
- A "Peugeot" lo-pro but now with matching Mavic x Wolber wheels and DA 7400 1x6 gearing. £300 for this as it's got only nice parts on. Probably not an actual Peugeot but nobody really knows what it is/was. Decent quality frame with internal routing.
- A CAAD9 frame in really nice condition. Never ridden by me. Would need £240 for this.
- A beater but fine fixed rear wheel that I respaced for a 46mm (road) chainline
- Some random RSAM Rival groupset bits
- A Brooks Swift in black (would like £60)
- A load of bars
- More beatery wheels in various states of completion
- All sorts of general bits and bobs. Try me.
- A load of old tools and stuff.
- J E R S E Y S and shorts and stuff
- An old school adidas trackie top (blue and yellow)
- Some old DJ stuff (Vestax mixer and not sure what else...)
PICS:
Orbit and Campag wheels
Lo-pro (old setup, but you get the idea)
CAAD (not my pics but it is this exact frame)
Any offers and questions gladly accepted. Can also meet in town (MCR) for small parts or even bigger ones. But basically if you make my life easier and pick bits up then I'll knock money off.

That orbit is a chain and a Flite away from perfection ATMO
-
• #6795
Cheers - it did have the white Flite on at one point. To be honest it was never set up brilliantly so always caused me a bit of aggro when riding. And seeing as I'm cutting down on road bikes, it has to go :(
It could be a lot of things, but I just don't have time to ride so many different bikes these days. SAD!
