That doesn’t seem to be the case.
Seems one of the charges is that he lied stating it was for a member of support staff.
The charges predominantly centre around lying, trying to create an alibi and it being ordered for an athlete. In researching that the GMC also tightened prescribing for yourself, friends and family in 2008 and then in 2011.

Austrian police walking in on Nordic skier in the middle of a transfusion. Absolutely grim. I doubt any punishment can ever match his shame (although he should be sanctioned).

Wonder if it explains this : http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/denifl-dissolves-contract-with-ccc-team/

Probably. I always thought it was odd that a bigger team didn’t pick up Denifl, as he could have been a solid support rider in the mountains and, presumably, would be relatively cheap given he was riding at Aqua Blue.
This incident would seem to explain why he wasn’t getting a ride for bigger teams, i.e. his bio passport figures made teams nervous.

A ban would mean Contador would be credited with the Vuelta win, a curious turn of events...

Even bridge has doping...
Doping in bridge is a reminder that no sport will ever be free of cheating -

Not performance enhancing but they follow the same WADA code as everyone else so you gotta think about what you're putting in your body.

Georg Preidler FDJ (?) has confessed too, although I can’t tell to what extent because am only reading poorly translated sites.

He’s confessed to blood doping apparently.
Oh to be a fly on the wall in the Madiot household this morning.

CCC said there was no issue with his bio passport.
http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/ochowicz-no-red-flags-in-denifls-biological-passport/
If riders like he and Preidler - not part of the old omertà generation - are getting away with doping, it leads me to suspect it’s probably still rife in the peloton.
-
• #8174
Do you think CCC would admit to taking him on knowing his passport values were suspect?
I mean, who’d trust Jim Ochowicz on anything, never mind doping matters? He’s spent the past forty years in the sport and has never seen doping despite working with teams that had multiple doping convictions.

It’s akin to trusting what Nigel Farage says on the EU.
