It’s surprising how far you climb uphill before you hit the famous cobbled bit.

Anyway, loved how Stybar won today. He was clearly strong but he showed a level of tactical sophistication that I didn’t know he had, and timed his move to absolute perfection.

Shame that Benoot crashed. I thought he looked strong and it would have been good to see what two Lotto riders might have done to try and nick the win.

Shrewd finish by Stybar. Knew he had one chance and took it.

Although I think other teams would have had two men had the group not split because of the crash?

Just caught the highlights. Such a good move by stybar. And then watching them all do the "oh bollocks, it's a race for 2nd and I don't want to lose that" dance.
