Yeah, id buy one at that price, but thats the facny 'us import' one that is made of better tubing and has fancy rocker dropouts, they normally go for a fair bit more.

Faran v2 is pending in development but no details on changes or release date. If it has strael road bias geo with clearance for some fatter rubber it could be a good option for me

It doesn't. They're incredibly comfy and a great ride.
My 725 came in shod with WTB Rangers (I think) 2.0, tubed, and weighted at 10.4kg (only).
Haven't checked since converting to tubeless and with pedals on.

If you're worried about weight maybe steel isn't the better option

FYI - despite what Evans claims, a 2016 Arkose fork will accept a 650b X 47c tyre

What’s a good high volume, slick 700c tyre?

Mainly gonna be for road usage and I feel like 700c might be a little more versatile than 650 (otherwise I’d definitely just buy horizons).

I haven’t bought wheels yet because I can’t decide on tyres and suffer from chronic indecision.

I use 35mm for the commute and also happily detour onto the gravel canal..

What are they like for punctures?
