One of the Max bills i wear the least (27.3500 611) is losing time but

@inchpincher - I have escaped the hole. KS Chronometer Hi-Beat 5626-7041 on its way.

Tried one of those on the other day. I was a little underwhelmed given its full retail price. Thought it sat very high even for a chrono. Dial is sweet though.

How much time are we talking?

Ha.
Also, I was tempted by the KS hi-beat as well but the Grand Quartz listed today is on its way to me instead.
Nearly bought the Vanac yesterday but the crystal was too far gone.

Lovely dial and bracelet. The vanac was insane. I’d never seen one before. Those crystals are mental.

I'd seen a few Vanac before but that's the nicest I've seen.
Probably should have just pulled the trigger

What do you think? I have number 76 (potentially) waiting for me when I get back home.

I’ve not got much to compare it too.
I like it, I wanted something with an explorer dial that I can wear.
It’s maybe a bit flashy but I’m getting used to it.
Edit the hands and markers are more gold than the photo suggests. -

That's nice! I was under the impression that these were limited edition and hard to find so I'm surprised you found it and got a deal on it.

I’m doubtful that would require servicing at that age. It’s more likely to just need regulating which is a ten minute job to do. For some reason, hairsprings exhibit an effect where there elasticity varies from new which can cause the rate to vary as they bed-in.

Right Hive.
I need to start thinking about getting the wife a nice dress watch for her big birthday. (21 again) etc.
I noticed some lovely vintage Omega in here recently that are not too spenny.
Where should I be looking or do you have any suggestions?
Ta. 😎

Maybe Cartier if you can stretch to it. What sort of budget? Quartz or mechanical? New or vintage?
Timekeeping pretty spot on. It was gaining a bit but got it services and now it's fine.
I'm just a bit annoyed they totally changed the design so they could give it a bracelet rather than designing a bracelet to fit the existing one. I'd really like a bracelet for it.
