  • I don't think you'll be getting the moving parts any closer together than that without overtightening things. Looks fine as is.

  • One more pic for peace of mind, cheers for quick feedback.

    I did think if parts get closer they'll start rubbing.

  • As long as there's no play (rocking when front brake only is applied) and it still turns freely then it should be good. Tighten the stem cap bolt first, to get the bearings loaded correctly to get to this point, then the stem bolts to hold the bars straight.
