Has anyone used Shimano's newish PD-ES600 MTB-type SPD pedals?
I need to replace my ancient PD-A520s, but I'm a bit confused why this new-but-not-that new Shimano pedal has few online reviews and little UK availability.
In fact I can only find one review, which says they don't hang at the right angle. Maybe they're a flop? Any experience?
Looks like there's more flat area for a shoe to rest on than the A520, similar to what the A600 has (see picture comparing A520 and A600). I still reckon they'll fall back - the steel latching parts are gonna be quite dense compared with that alloy loop at the front.
yeah, i might risk the ES600... especially as they are cheaper than the A600, but still have the metal bearing gubbins. just seems odd I can literally only find one proper review.
