I guess the E5 stays then. The Devinci is lovely in person though, first road bike I've seen in ages which has turned my head. Bit different and made in Canada which goes well ith my Banshee and Chromag for a maple heavy fleet.
Yeh, I think it'sd look better with black tyres, but the veloflex were cheap and ride really nice. I think I want to go tubeless when they wear out though.
Looking back though the photos show it's original look
And the HH look

I think I’m going for a restore and period parts build. Not done one and based on the bb, headset both seeming good, front wheel is a Dunlop Lightweight in amazing condition, five speed block is good, headbadge is there, would seem like the right thing to do :)
Plus these were part of the purchase...

...and, here’s what we’ve got. No dents on the top tube, the original colour was gold, can see it under that green on the fork stem and inside the steerer tube. Not a bad start. Going to invest in Campagnolo mech and lever, need some better brakes (Mafac? But would need to be centre-pull?) and a matching rear wheel for the five speed block.
And gumwalls.
And gold.

I have an old 531c Raleigh frame I've done nothing with for 10 years which I now want to do something with. So questions:
- Any recommendations for a London bike shop to remove one of the bottom bracket cups which probably hasn't been off in 35 years?
- Is there a go to 10 speed group? Thinking 5700.

Bravo - there is a thread for older bikes somewhere around here. The posters have some deep knowledge and have always happy to help and help sourcing parts.

Anyone here with a Condor Bivio? I'm getting tempted but they are out of 52cm models, not sure if 55cm is too big (I'm 5'10)? Currently riding a 56cm which feels a bit too tall but its an 80's frame and newer bikes are loads lower... anyone?
