Yeah had considered that from SJS or this cheap mount: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ZTTO-Alloy-Bike-Stem-Extension-Computer-Mount-Holder-For-GARMIN-Edge-GPS-GoPro/352351614294?
Will probably resort to using one of these when running bar bag: https://www.tredz.co.uk/.Ortlieb-Ultimate-6-Adapter-Support_111573.htm
won't look very good but should drop the light below the bag, will need a out front mount for when it is on there though

Little late but gorilla tape would be perfect.

As I said, little late!

@Señor_Bear^ I did similar with a GB guard as tape just didn’t work for me.
I just bought a Supernova E3 mkii set for a 26er I’ve built. Going to try internally routing the rear up a rear rack stay, couple of drillings and some fiddling. Avoiding using the mudguards for routing as I want to be able to remove them for mud clearance and still have lighting. My only beef is the Supernova rear seems a bit ... exposed, the way it sticks out and has no shielding / lens. Thinking of drilling out some holes in a biggish reflector and mounting that over the top of it. Might even try to diy a lenticular spreader à la B&M toplight. Basically cosmetically downgrading it ;)
Where do I find a nice piece of narrow, long, thickish perspex? Was thinking half a Biro outer...

Yeah.
When is skully going to start his own niche retrogrouch rando-only framebuilding co-operative?

Looking for a nice rear dynamo light.
Hit me up if you got something. -

Very good deal on a Dynamo Light I saw this morning on ebay

No problem...

Also missed out the SON hub he was selling!

No worries.
Would have snapped it up but too many wires for me... -

Does anyone know a good bracket for mounting a 50mm rear rack type light onto a seatstay (with rack mounting point). I'm guessing some L shaped bracket.

VO sells one, it turns the light sideways however.

My wife had this mount on her bike, it would repeatedly rattle itself loose.

Internally routed f&r dynamo lights? Looks good, will be intrigued to see the result!

Half internal. Runs along the down tube on the outside, then up thru the bb shell into the seatpost.

Maybe the reason why not to is obvious, but wouldn't the hole have made more sense in the back of the post not the front?

Interested in trying this too.
Debating best place to drill, i.e. front / side / back and also would doing the same on a carbon post be certain death...
on Triton I went Spork 2.0 only so that I can put bags etc under bars (rando bag not bikepacking bag) and the light goes on rack, its the only downside of mounting the light there.
This is another option:
