Sooner or later I'm gonna get a Real Job (the search starts next week). I will 100% definitely blow my first ever Adult Sized Paycheck on a stupid spine-breaker of bike, I won't be able to resist. Favouring some sort of 160-170mm hardtail with 2.8" tyres right now.

But yeah, it's the end of my PhD and the end of my cheapskatery. I feel all nostalgic. But it will not be missed

Edit: some stupid carbon road wheels are on the shopping list too

I said that too....and then I got my first ever adult sized paycheck and had to rethink everything.

Maybe the tax man buys a nice bike with your first ever adult sized paycheck
