Used it for cross to start with but it has turned into a bike to commute on. So replacement tyres is the answer?
Not necessarily. I haven't ridden a caadx so can't comment specifically but they won't be helping
Definitely try new tyres, hardshells feel deader than even normal gatorskins. Vittoria hypers might be a good option for a higher volume commute tyre that feels pretty nice.
