you could try a Land Registry title search? costs £3 for the title register and another £3 if you want the boundary plan/map.
edit: a map enquiry is probably your best bet if it’s hard to determine whether it has a street/‘house’ number

I’ve admired this many times on our way out to Essex. Bit totty for a house, but who knows what’s down the secret tunnels that lie beneath it.
Anyone here know where I would find out who owns this building?
I can see that someone made a planning application to rip down and build flats but I'd love to turn it into a house...
