Wear one of those wildlife photographer vest things and stick everything in the pockets. I once flew with a guy that did it with a full frame body and three lenses (one being a 70-200) and there was basically nothing they could do about it

Yes. I have taken a camera on board before on a shoulder strap. At first someone tried to mouth off saying 'you can't bring more than one bag'. To which I turned to the side and said 'fuck off. It's a camera'. I didn't actually tell them to fuck off but I did say 'it's a camera.'

I also haven't had any problems even carrying 2 cameras around my neck/shoulder boarding Ryanair. But that was before the new baggage policy

Quick question, heading away for a few days tomorrow and stupidly haven't got a camera bag. Turns out Ryan air have changed their bag policy so I don't really want to put my bag into the hold with the camera in.
Will I be okay boarding the plane with the camera around my neck? I have an old tamrac SLR bag that I will try and take I think too.
