From 32 minutes it's absolutely barking all the way to the end.
"Nairoman, Nairoman" sung to the tune of Spiderman was my personal fave by the commentators

And Sosa might be better than Bernal
-
• #20154
In February perhaps, Bernal's form is being built for the Giro.
-
• #20155
Ok, now I get why everyone is talking about this finish. That was fucking mental.

Old school racing , love it apart from the todo loco alado

Dr. Hutch tweeting today that Chris Boardman has spent more time in TdF yellow than either Pantani or Charly Gaul.

Nairoman! Nairoman! Does whatever a nairoman does!
-
• #20159
What need, exactly, was there to allow Quintana back in this? Were they completely cooked?
The hordes of spectators swarming across the road remind of the time me and a couple of friends walked through a field full of bullocks.

Charly Gaul
Is that just because of the black and white photographs?

Lopez and Sosa were looking for the overall win, with López marking Sosa, as long as they finished together López would win.
Sosa on the other hand had to beat López by a few seconds, so neither would want to blow themselves up by chasing Nairoman to be counterattacks by the other. -

Pffft, small people, what do they know? :)
Ta.

I'm very pleased to learn that the 2021 Tour de France is starting in Copenhagen.
-
• #20165
I hope Tadej Pogačar is on the level because winning the Volta ao Algarve in your first 2 months as a World Tour pro is really impressive, especially the way he did it.

Do you think a no deal Brexit would mean Simon Gerrans has to leave the UK? Or at least just the Eurosport studio?
Carlton Kirby is commentating like he has a head injury. Could be a long season.

• #20167
No complaining about commentators before Het Volk.

I'm very pleased to learn that the 2021 Tour de France is starting in Copenhagen.
So no KOM points before Stage 4, or are they going to award them when going up onto bridges? :)
-
• #20169
There is a 22% climb at the end of stage 3 - maybe it will be ridden several times.
-
• #20170
Me too, looks exciting!
Last year, Bernal had a similarly impressive first year, with first in Tour of California, first in Columbia and 2nd in Romandie. -
• #20171
In Sønderborg? I dont think they are ending in Vejle if you are thinking about Kiddesvej...
-
• #20172
Ah, I didn't realise they'd built a staircase into the course. :)
-
• #20173
They’ll find something, they always do. Mainly because the sponsor of the KoM jersey wants their daily dose of publicity on the podium.

• #20174
Car park hill climb??
-
• #20175
No need for a car park in Copenhagen - Hill Climb event up this:

It's Feb.
This is when they're taking the blood out and storing it for use in July.
Allegedly.
