"Normal" ISO black and white film should be fine I guess, well and you will know this.
Where I'm at there are basically no deals to be made on expired film anyways, it usually is cheaper than buying good stuff in a fancy camera store but it's still more expensive than Foto Impex or (sometimes) Maco. So..
definitely. I'd keep anything over 800 in a freezer. also not good putting it through x-ray machines. but being b&w you can get something and work it up in the darkroom?
