    : D

  • Long shot, but I don't suppose anyone has a Bronica 50mm S (or PS) lens they'd lend me for an afternoon?

Only so I can try and justify filling the gap between my 80 and 40mm with something akin to a 28mm on full frame which I'm used to

  • spent my afternoon catching up with the past 6 months of this thread, some amazing stuff as ever.

my last two rolls have been HP5 and Portra 800:

  • welcome back

    awesome shots man

  • Aires is fixed. Probably should try it with fresh film rather than old expired Gold.

  • Great shots

  • Pigs are excellent. I just sent off a load of film to the lab..much excite.

  • great scenery, also dig the numb colours

  • Yeah I'm quite pleased with that happy accident of old film and the good old grey, bleak British seaside

  • good old grey, bleak British seaside

To be honest first I thought that's a wall behind those little houses.

  • Will have been asked here a ton, but what's the go to for film develop and scan in London at the mo?

  • Anybody tried this yet? Poundland £2 spesh. Only 10 exposures. Reviews online says it's based on the agfa / c200.

  • Shit hipsters say.

  • £2 for ten exposures? The fuck is the point in that????

  • C200 is only 1 pound more, for 26 more exposures. Colorplus is only 50p more. 10 exposures of shit film is hardly appealing...

  • I've decided to avoid expired film from now on. Four rolls of Delta 3200, all with heavy base fog. Not worth the hassle.

  • Aye thats a pure bump, also the same price if you develop 10 exposures or 36.

  • I guess nobody have tried it yet. I bought one to test.

@JB my guess would be Poundland trying to make money from film photography after realising the mistake they made when stop selling agfa back in 2017, but at the same time thinking they can take advantage of people by selling a 10exp film.

@Turkish I agree, just looking for opions of people that might have try this film on the non digital film photography and cameras.

@konastab01 I pay £3 for uncut develop only at the family run local lab and scan at home. So not so bad for a quick 10 exp film. However if you are having to send film to get development and scan, prices can quickly reach £15+ per roll which would make this film totally worthless.

I was mainly trying to see if anybody has already tried it and had any thoughts on it. This film seem great to test a new camera before putting a more premium film through.

Yea but for the same money you could have more than three times as much pictures developed, could you not?
    Am I missing something?

I have not tried it yet, and my thoughts are fuck those fuckers for even trying this shit.

I'd rather get 10 rolls of 36exp C200 for £24.99 to be honest.

[edit] just realize this all has been said already on previous page

    That's sad.
"Normal" ISO black and white film should be fine I guess, well and you will know this.
Where I'm at there are basically no deals to be made on expired film anyways, it usually is cheaper than buying good stuff in a fancy camera store but it's still more expensive than Foto Impex or (sometimes) Maco. So..

  • Yeah, I think high ISO stuff suffers more. Still got some usable shots, away to scan them now.

  • I think high ISO stuff suffers more

definitely. I'd keep anything over 800 in a freezer. also not good putting it through x-ray machines. but being b&w you can get something and work it up in the darkroom?

  • How expired, out of interest? I've a roll of the stuff from 2009 I'm not sure is worth the trouble.

Unless I use it for something artistic. Shooting in fog, maybe

  • This stuff was 2003 expiry, some negs are ok and I'll try to print a couple for sure.

  • Interested to see, would you post some when you've scanned?
