I hadn’t intended on upgrading the fork, however would these not be the logical next step?

Don't you already have the 'performance elite' fork? In which case it's the same as that factory version, apart from the kashima coated stanchions

2019 version would have the 'grip 2' damper, which might be worth upgrading to
