They’ve made a fork that everybody wants. And nobody else seems to make. Of course they will place it a high price point. That’s how running a successful company works.
I would guess that the steerer is straight, as making it work in a tapered/oversized head tube is possible, but making a tapered fork work in a straight 1 1/8 head tube is not. I’m no bicycle component designer though.
2 years becomes will old? - this is something that seems to be right of the industry and I think it sucks.
Yeah I get that, but £350 is a lot imo, fyxation Sparta is my comparison at £255 in alu/carbon and about £325 in full carbon - straight or tapered, mounts and multiple axle types.
No one is forcing you to buy the Genesis fork. As a consumer you have the choice to buy or not buy something if you don’t agree with the price it sells for.
