    But it’s all conjecture anyway, we have no idea what the legal arguments are about but that doesn’t stop Roan and the BBC positioning it as ‘delaying tactics’.

  • Is there anything here where the “rider” would gain protected anonymity given they couldn’t be prosecuted? Which might in turn impact on the case?

  • I don’t think there is a rider. I believe the reason the GMC are bringing this case is because Freeman was prescribing treatment to support staff, without the knowledge of their GPs. The testosterone was for someone in their 50s with a much younger girlfriend. Allegedly.
