Are you not scared your commuter will get bashed against things and the guards will stress and fracture?

Is that a thing with GB guards?

My current bluemels are flexy and the stays are constantly popping out on the bits in the fender that's supposed to hold it in.

Want something sturdier.

I'm just scaremongering. I'm sure its fine. I've never had metal guards except on a 30 year old commuter (and they stressed and fractured but it was 30 y/o)
