• These look great and haven’t come up in any of my searches. I do really want that sound isolation.

I still worry I’ll have the same problem where they just don’t stay in; with my Beats earbuds and other cheaper sets, with any of 5 different sizes, I can be sitting still and my ears just slowly push them out. @chiroshi is that what you get, and the fins stop it?

  • For me, designs like apple earbuds just do not grip at all, I have quite a wide channel where the stem sits.
In ear tips are also sometimes uncomfortable, or lose grip, but I find with the fins I can use a smaller tip and still the headphones stay in.

the cable does not go straight down, but up, then behind the ear - so there's no pull on the earbuds like with normal ones, the first centimeters are bendable like a wire so you can sort of mold them to your ear. This works really well, and still works with thick sunglasses I've found.
Also the earbuds have those foamy kind of tips that you squeeze before you insert them so they then expand again when in your ear (this is part of what blocks outside noise so well and it also helps with them not falling out as easily).
Not gonna lie this all is a bit fiddly / unusual at first but sound quality is very good and they're comfy and don't fall out easily.

I only went for different kinds of headphones as I have to talk to people a lot intermittendly, and actually they isolate outside noise so well it isn't really enough to pause the music as you'd still have trouble hearing somebody speaking to you with those earbuds in if they don't have quite a loud voice..
