First half marathon yesterday at Hampton Court. Amazing day for it and was such a buzz, 1.27.07 on the chip (though I'm showing on the results as my wife after she helpfully switched them over pre-race).
I hadn't run properly for a few weeks leading up to it as I was having some issues with PF and Achilles pain from overdoing it. That and the 6 pints the night before means I'm happy with the result. Can hardly walk today though and sitting on the loo is not easy. Already looking forward to the next one.
