Hopefully the stuff he's developing and releasing as cars will help develop public transport, I doubt he'd have got much funding to develop a bunch of electric busses or whatever even the works is currently do car centric. It's far from ideal but is at least in the right kind of direction and might lead to other bellends doing better shit.
Also, the people praising some of his shit can surely see he's a cunt and the people calling him a cunt can surely see there's some merit in what he's doing.
Can't we all just get along and slowly die together guys.
