Yes I have done it twice before, the same run last year (2:02) and then the Hackney Half (1:49) in May.
I think I might do some of it, because it starts at Tower Bridge which is very close to where I live in Bermondsey, and then maybe see how it goes... I guess I can always drop out and get home pretty easily after it's done the Shadwell and Wapping bit, if it gets too much.
I really enjoyed the Hackney one last year so maybe this one will act as a springboard to get me back on track.
If it was me, I'd probably drop out. If you have run the distance before, then I would run it.
It's a long way if you've not prepared....
