Well, you don't get much more connected with terrorists than to be in a marriage arranged by a terrorist group and married to a member of it.

becoming a citizen of ISIS
What colour are their passports?

Interesting how this has been framed as ‘bring me home’ rather than plight of young mum in refugee camp.
We know she wants to come home because of a short interview with a Times journalist who chanced upon her at a refugee camp. She didn’t seek him out and hasn’t made noises to the UK about getting home as far as I can see.
She very matter of fact about everything that’s happened to her. No tears or desperation.
I don’t really know what should happen to her but not sure she’s done anything to warrant the UK completely abandoning any compassion towards her.

Terrorist or not, she's a pregnant British citizen in a grave situation. It doesn't matter if it is of her making or not.

Pretty mental how people are happy to see someone's rights removed because they're "bad".

The other thing to consider is that this 19 yo woman would have been executed at any moment should she have shown a hint of regret of her decision. I suspect that it's not easy to feel safe and free to speak openly so soon after escape.

ha! no, sorry. I guess I just wanted to think aloud on the subject.
@lk - black.

It's human nature. For an eg closer to home, look at this forum's generally accepted view that drivers that kill cyclists should receive custodial sentences.

79 infant monkeys
After euthanizing the monkeys, the scientists conducted post-mortems on the animals’ brains
yay happy

People that kill people deserve stiffer sentences.

No doubt the anti-vaccers will now shift their goalposts again.
"reads article"
Halladay likens the challenge of disputing the claim that vaccines cause autism to “playing whack-a-mole.”
"there we are, they already did after paying for this study"
Since so far autism research indicates there are changes in the brain that start in embryonic development, I'd be unpleasantly surprised if they had found anything.
To make it even worse, it is not clear there is one autism gene or expression, so what on earth are you even going to search for aside from that they did (searching on symptoms/brain changes)

What about people who joined and abetted an organisation that kills and glorifies killing people as one of its central tenets?
-

What about them? Stiffer sentences.

This isn't necessarily the solution I'm advocating but this girl could come back and accept a custodial sentence. She would be safe and so would her child. Social services with the help of another service (is it MI5 at that level??) could evaluate whether her family contributed to her running away to join ISIS. If it was not a contributor then her child could be placed in custody of her family allowing her to maintain regular contact and knowing she will be able to keep a relationship when she eventually leaves prison.
Again, I'm not saying I advocate that, but it's a solution that I think would potentially cover a lot of bases.

Why are you being rational, do you love Isis?
-
• #55593
I can't answer that question because I'm already on too many lists

This is LFGSS, I thought we loved lists?

There is another side to the argument; Britain's responsibility for what her citizens do abroad.
To my knowledge Russia and Tunisia has written off thousands of their ISIS fighters by refusing them the possibility of returning home. Might seem like a problem solved domestically, but I think it's a dick move towards the local population in the Middle East who's now stuck having to try integrate them somehow.

Would you mind adding me to the list. I love lists, and this would be another opportunity to be involved in a list.

I’m not sure you’re ready
Are you stalking me? Lol
It looked unusual with two carrier bags and an AK. Others in the footage did not appear to be armed. Just my impression.
When she mentioned seeing people’s heads in buckets after being beheaded, I thought she may be connected with terrorists too.
