I shouted "wheres the brompton Ned?" last week!
He probably calls it Chpt3 too. On brand.
I take it he was in earshot and he didn't mind an Indian fella having a good shout?
Or is this your 'go-to' phrase now? -

no, actual Ned, in flat cap and everything on Algernon road, walking
can confirm he has mudguards

Changed this up, carbon wheels to sell separately so this is now £2250!

If Phil made front and rear id be all over it. As it goes I'm on the lookout for profile minis at the mo.

BWC, who’s in?
-

6 speed if you are happy to travel slowly with luggage, 2 speed for that about town fixie feel.
I live on the top of a decently steep hill, so guessing the 6 speed?
-
• #6158
Yes. Hills aren't great on the 2spd. If you're going 6spd might as well go dynamo too, as it won't be light.
-
• #6159
Friend has a sub 10kg 6 speed, so doesn’t mean mega heavy!
-
• #6160
But a 2spd would be lighter ;)

Is there any specific technique to tighten up headsets on Brompton or just tighten cup and locknut as normal?
-
• #6162
Nothing specific, just the normal back off against each other
-
• #6163
But slower!
-
• #6164
Definitely 6 speed. 2 speed is 55/75gi ish. 6 is 33-105 ish.
-
• #6165
I tried lots of things to assist the two speed, 60t ring, 3 speed conversion etc, but nothing is quite as good as 6 speed!

Did anyone ask why his company are such fucking dicks to deal with if you’re not a main dealer?
Nickel edition Superlight. Good start for some proper mods.
