I've bought myself a new beater frame for city commuting etc and it's meant to be a 126 old but it looks like its been bent in slightly and closer to 122 or there abouts, not a huge issue, but one of the rear drop outs has been bent closed slightly and the axle doesn't slide in as it's too tight. No signs of any serious impacts that I can see, so any ideas how to open the drop out again? Simply use a flat metal bar and try and prise it back open slightly? I'm gonna try and remove the paint on the inside of the dropout to see if that helps as it's only just off, but wondered if anyone had any better ideas?
It's a cheap run about so what ever happens it ain't gonna cost much.
