• Rivendell Road Custom, painted by Joe Bell, lugs designed by Richard Sachs.
Size stamped on bb 59,59c-c seattube,58c-c toptube,17cm headtube
Rare custom version with Rivendell logo on the downtube rather than model name logo.
    US made frame.
    Chris King 1 inch threadset
Clearance for guards and 25-28c tyres depending on the guard and caliper choice(I've runned 28c Fairweather traveler tyres on tb14 rims with honjo H30 guards using Athena 39-49 dual pivot calipers)
Rear brake bridge with fender braze on for direct mudguard mounting.
    100mm/130mm
It can be used with long reach brakes 49-57 drop(with pads set at the highest point)as well if you desire more mudguard width.
Can be also used with uber long reach brakes with 650b wheels for extra Bicycle Quartely points.
I'm unsure about tubing but most early customs were build using Reynolds 753,never contacted Mr Grant but from informations available online it looks like a post Waterford build most probably built by Match cycles(Joe Stark and Curt Goodrich)
Paintjob by Joe Bell in great condition, headbadge on point as well.
Rides very nice and it can handle big rubber without the fenders.

    Frameset price £900

It can be also built as pictured for £1800

Frameset available to view in Shoreditch.

I'm happy to supply more detailed geometry info or links if needed.
