Yeah I tried that last night, still no change.

Thanks, I'll give that a go tonight.

best thing to do is drop the wheel out, get a small bit of rubber and tuck it around the top of the stay then retighten with lock tite, a tiny bit of heatshrink would work nicely

Just want to mention we have a few cheap bromptons at sjs to move on .. starting from £760!

I had exactly that, albeit not as severe. Taking the wheel off revealed the mudguard had a crack in it and therefore it wasn't clamping down efficiently enough on the stays. I slid in a couple of pieces of old inner tube to get it tight again.

I shouted "wheres the brompton Ned?" last week!
-
• #6135
Bromptons are made for guards!
-
• #6136
probably about 4 weeks?
I suppose I can wait that long. Are you going to have the BTP-85G Derailleur Cable Anchorage as well?
-
• #6137
Yep! and the ti telescopic!
-
• #6138
Excellent. Don't need the ti telescopic, could do with the shifter and anchorage for the 3 speed conversion.

• #6139
I’ll keep you posted!

Got two already, one black, one silver. Black one's going on the Joseph Kuosac carbon rims.

As someone owning a recent/new brompton should I be worried about this bbgate?
Yes, get it replaced, it's free after all.

I'm back to considering a Brompton again, which one should I be considering?

Nine-street edition

So the rattling s stopped, as @maynardeames said I had to drop the wheel off to get to the underside of the mudguards but tightening the bolt and revit wasn’t doing anything. So I took both bolt and revit out of the rear wheel on the mudguard, cleaned and rotated the plate and screw them back in and bob’s your uncle the rattling has stopped!
Thanks everyone.

Front and rear?
-
• #6147
6 speed if you are happy to travel slowly with luggage, 2 speed for that about town fixie feel.
-
• #6148
6 speed if you want to go fast or far.
S type with wider bars, or use a Kuosac mid rise for a slightly higher but wider position.
Sjs have some discounted bromptons currently!

We have a load of these.. message me for deets...

They just make fronts!
Think it is a 3mm bolt on the underside, but might be a rivet.
Pop the wheel off and just tighten them if it’s the 3mm
