Your warmest gilet / jacket

Sizes XS / S please - whilst I've worked hard to be this thin I've also become hugely susceptible to the cold. please let me know if you have anything super warm (and packable/light) please. Thanks!

Don't laugh. I bought this. Warmest gilet I've owned (excepting the fleece I used for motorcycling which contained hot wires and plugged into the mbike power socket.)
As you can see its a Michael Kors puffer, but super slim, packs to nothing, is as light as a feather and is super warm. Tkmaxx in Gloucester. £15. With this type of stuff you.must allow it to be 'puffy' to be effective. Flattening it under tight lycra will render it useless. Only problem is my teenage daughter has discovered it....

Probably not the warmest thing available, but I recently picked up a synthetic gilet from Decathlon for a tenner (half its usual price). Works well, James Olsen (designer of Pinnacle bikes, rides a lot) is a big fan.

Got one of these and it’s very warm. Probably too warm combined with a base layer and LS jersey in anything over 6-7c for harder efforts but it packs down nicely into a jersey

Oh hello, it’s me, outdoors clothing nerd.
I have two jackets you might like:

Montbell Down Jacket - as light as you can get. 900 Fill down, 230g (I think), packs down the size of a Haggis. Super light shell fabric, comes with a bag, poppers not zip to save weight, hand warmer pockets. RRP was £300ish so would take £110.

Montant Flux - the super warm one. Easily keep you warm at 0 degrees with just a t shirt underneath. Doubly insulated hand warmer pockets, great hood, etc. Weighs around 600g so not porky either. RRP was £210ish so I would take £80.

Both are size small and grey/black to not look stupid. Good condition no holes or marks etc. Postage fine.

Bit of both. Most of my riding these days is off road/bikepacking kinda stuff, so minimal chance of smashing it up and down along the river and overheating.
(And I got the impression the OP wants super warm)

@platypus exactly the post I was looking for. Ill PM but in the interests of saving space for bikepacking I'll go with the Montbell.
