I used to do a lot of windsurfing.
Was this before mountain biking became popular?

Colour matched stem/frame/fork is the one. All else black and your onto a winner.

what's next? Painting the lever blades to match?
I was actually planning this for my next build. My last build already had painted hubs.

Eh? It was before I became a father with two kids who lives in London. I still do a bit, but rare I get down to the south coast when the conditions are right.
Me and mountain biking have been firm friends since I was 13.

That's not what mountain biking told me. Apparently you smell and are a skank.

Have we had this yet? Knolly Cache.
-
• #7036
Seen it on Instagram earlier, it’s sure not a pretty bike.

Make it stop.

That fork just kills it. I'm also not convinced by a 30mm travel fork, surely extra weight goes a way to making it a harsh ride?

Someone has left one of these out on the kitchen counter:

I'm not sure Knolly even make nice looking MTBs so this is par for the course really.

Crikey, my friend is having a frustrating time waiting for his Ribble 725 CGR which he ordered two months ago.
First it was the frames weren't there. Then they didn't have thru-axles. Then they didn't have the forks. Now they don't have the tyres!
They were marked as in stock when he ordered it.
-

I emailed them a few weeks ago enquiring about stock and they said they were getting the forks either "today or tomorrow, then we are ready to go" or something along those lines. I also asked if any components were delayed and they didn't say so.
Not going too smoothly.

He had a similar interaction, where they first told him that they didn't have the thru-axles, & then a few weeks later said that they didn't have the forks. Would've thought that not having the fork to put the thru-axle on would be considered the bigger blocker!

The world's worst bike reviewer has chipped in.

Despite the boom in biking that has gripped the country for the past decade, cycle shops are still closing at an alarming rate. Evans, however, is stubbornly holding out against the tide.
Lol, does he not read the news?

It appears to have brakes.

Dunno, I have serious lust for a fugitive LT.

In a coffee fuelled excitement I have ordered a Secan frame! Going to swap over all salvageable parts from my mangled genesis.
One thing I’ll def need is new wheels. Is there much advantage in going 650bx47/50 over 700x38? (Both with guards)
edit: thanks for the help on my original q!

Secan
Never looked at these, for £500, thats a beautiful frameset.
I would vote 700c 38mm to be my choice tbh.,

£500 is the deposit.
NAHBS is coming. Prepare to see far worse.
