Did you use compressionless housing with the BB7s? I've always found them very good, even with shitty cable housing.

Yeah, Jagwire compressionless. Definitely wouldn't work mixing the mtb calipers with road levers without it.

I'm consistently surprised how good they are if you get the disc really true and set the fixed pad nice and close

Sounds like no complaints about setting up road levers + mtn BB7? Compressionless and slick cables is the shit.

That's the stuff labelled "pro", right?

I'm probably going to give it a go next time I change cables.
Is there enough housing for fully covered cables?
