bad copy of lens?

I know it's high contrast area (top is just black and white stripes) so prone to this... but wondering if so much is normal wide open.

What lens/camera is it?
Doesn't Sony/Fuji/Olympus come with built in lens correction - do you have that turned off?
Otherwise it should be fixable in raw-processing.

Fuji XF16mm f/1.4

Amazon sent me another one (!) to compare, then I’ll return the worse copy. That’s pretty awesome service if you ask me.
