mate, I have done cheap but there is a diff between cheap and cheapskate. Don't buy cheap shit it will end up in ocean and thats not good for the planet. And I don't call anyone 'mate'.

The bars were only cheap because the laser etching is off-centre. I couldn't give a flying fuck about the etching, but otherwise they should be normal budget alloy PlanetX bars. It's not like I bought carbon bars for 25p direct from China.
The majority of stuff I buy is second hand or reused (thus cheap) precisely because I hate things going to landfill/the ocean. And far less emissions/chemical and material waste/packaging/etc. to worry about with second hand.

just put those bars on with a £2 stem and some ancient £20 Force shifters. HHSRB here I come
Edit: next up I'll re-use some old Deda bar tape
