Among other curent projects is this one: Took a mold from an really pretty 14ft barges boat, have made the first hull, and am currently fitting it out. I really wanted to retain as much of the detail as possible, so spent about 2 weeks stripping and fairing the hull, before polishing and waxing. This means the grain of the wood and the nail heads all show through.
First attempt at making a split mold, or any single molding anywhere near this big. Pretty happy with how It's turned out.
Just started fitting out the first hull, which will be rigged with a balanced lugasail, as a low maintenance sailing dinghy for my dad. Going to start making the hulls to sell, with a set of templates and instructions/ guide lines for diy fitout.
