are road spds that much better?
There are pros and cons. Using MTB pedals on your road bike means you can actually walk into the café without going arse over tit, and you only need 5 pairs of shoes rather than the ten you need if you have two different kinds of clip-in pedals. On the other hand, some people like the way road pedals stop your foot from rolling if you have really terrible pedalling technique and think that it actually matters.

Nah. Just flats on my commuter. Did have mtb spds, but that then being up the issue of are road spds that much better?
