@PhilDAS I've been drip-feeding myself 'pro 650b' propaganda in order to compensate for lack of speed. Seems to be working thus far - I've even signed up to Audax UK.

Yeah, I would have preferred silver spokes too but I got the wheels for a very good price so can’t complain. It’ll have black contact points so should balance out.

I’m going for Omniums for cranks, some mad wide Nitto risers and Fizik finishing kit.

Bring on those dreamy summer days of cruising around dusty Edinburgh lanes and coastal roads.
