• Probably 18’s to give scope for larger brakes once we know what the engine will do. Designer is using the 6R4 International engine as his bhp/litre guide, which was (in its later, reliable guise) 125bhp/litre. That makes quite a lot (at 8,000rpm) from my 3.7 litre. So! Will I need to go up an inch on the rear tyre, or will 400+ horsepower be more fun with 285 section rubber?

  • So you're aiming for 450bhp-ish? Personally, I'd go a bit wider if I could. A 996 turbo was circa 420bhp and 4wd. This sounds like it's going to be getting close to GT2 levels of power and as a result I'd be doing big brakes and as much rubber as I could get!
