Probably 18’s to give scope for larger brakes once we know what the engine will do. Designer is using the 6R4 International engine as his bhp/litre guide, which was (in its later, reliable guise) 125bhp/litre. That makes quite a lot (at 8,000rpm) from my 3.7 litre. So! Will I need to go up an inch on the rear tyre, or will 400+ horsepower be more fun with 285 section rubber?
The 5 spokes are the same width and offset as the GT3 BBS wheels, but quite a lot lighter (and also made by BBS), which is why I went for them.
I've got lost in the world of offsets now. BBS LM's are available in:
Front
8.5 ET56
9 ET50
Rear
10 ET 50
11 ET 56
I'm unsure whether the 11's would fit without rolling the arches.
