Here’s my Ogre on The Badger Divide.
So nearly sold this bike but I’m glad I didn’t. It would have been one of the ones that got away if I had.

Great write up, enjoyed that! Trying to think how I could turn that route into a family holiday but that might be (definitely is) a daft idea

Good read! I need a mtb. 5 beers with tea was brave, had a chuckle at that.

Great read that - cheers. Badger Divide on the list for this year :)
Oh so sounds like very much a fast MTB route rather than Gravel?

I'm not that well informed but a fair few people have done good chunks of it on stragglers and similar I believe

I wonder if it could be done slower over several days, albeit it would mean carrying a lot more stuff. Hmmm

It’s been leveled and stays trimmed.

Praise be. It’s a cracking bike.

Jolly good write-up!

Thanks all!
I’ve done it on a gravel bike the reverse way and it was equally fun.
You can totally do it over 3 (or more days) which actually makes it a bit easier as there’s more options to sleep/refuel.
If anyone’s interested, PM me and I can recommend bothies and places to stop etc.

Thanks for sharing.
This brought back good memories :) We did it the other way around so I was a little confused at first. Soooo much fun.
We stayed at the Scottish YHA at Loch Ossian and I did it on a Brother Kepler Disc with 650x37b, totally doable. Rough as F.... in places but doable.
EDIT: We did the whole Inverness to Glasgow route over 4 days.

What size frameset is this ?
I’m also thinking of building a midnight special -

It's a 56. Love it. Haven't ridden anything else since I built it.
