I don't know what you are saying but I just found this:
Edit. I spoke too soon. It is not powerful enough..

I revisited the thru axle for the rack.
Initially I had chosen to use a cheap China 15mm TA which allowed me to thread M8 in the opposite end of the handle. It worked fine but the quality of the TA was not super.
I bought a DT Swiss instead which has a thinner wall and therefore I needed to machine a M8 insert.
Because this TA is a bit shorter it made me rethink how I could lock the DS rack leg in place. I binned the brass washer concept and made it fit with a counter sunk M8 bolt instead. Much much lighter, less parts and equally strong!

Hopefully I will have time to take this for a ride this weekend...
Current front cable is way to long and I will need to buy some vulcanising tape to attach dynamo cables to rear hydro cable.

Wuhu it works a treat.
@mdcc_tester I have obviously ripped off your design here. I hope you don't mind?
Would you be able to do a run of your design in brass with my logo on and how many would I need to buy to make it worth it for you?

how many would I need to buy to make it worth it for you?
Strictly speaking, one, but it would be one very expensive top cap :)
Depends exactly what you want, but as a rough guide 1=£100, 10=£200, 100=£1000 -

I feel a list coming on!

Mmm... That's too much money for me, but fair enough. Thanks

There must be a 100 on here willing to take a tester/Hulsroy colab top cap for a tenner, no?

I was thinking to include them in bikes I build not sell them individually.
So far I have made a couple of custom top caps for friends with leftover brass I have from furniture projects or scrap from students...

too much money
I have to make the aluminium blanks 100 at a time to hit the regular price point, and brass is about ten times as expensive for the material.

There must be a 10 on here willing to take a tester/Hulsroy colab top cap for £25

Yes I totally understand that.
I will give it a think. Maybe I should just get some alu made by you instead. -

Ah, I see. I'll just shut the fook up, would only have lead to another nightmare list anyway.

I need something else for bars I think. Reach is too long. Other than that I am happy.

Would still look good with a shorter stem I reckon

Well not a 100mm 10° one that's is for sure :)

I just rode 40km on this with 100mm stem. It works real nice. Can't wait for bag to arrive and new bars... Then off to paint

I am seriously thinking about doing this for my Stayer SSCX as well.
It would mean better use of the dropout
