Last year was absolutely brilliant, and that was in the pouring down rain.
One of my highlights of the year.

It can be difficult to rebel when you get to a certain age ... but nothing will stop this lovely forum-ite from showing us how it is done...
Look at this blatant parking on double yellow lines....
Yes I know....
Thankfully he has two fellow cyclists to keep a look out just in case the authorities turn up

Haha, lovely caption, Timothy!
Can’t really believe this ride’s still a mystery to some. @Velocio glad you’re intending on joining. Best social ride in London bar none.
Can’t remember who this guy is, rode quite late with just him all the way to Canonby, sound fella putting up with my blathering on all that way. On here?

Ah yeah! Also, weirdly enough, the following year I think, a certain meme-famous forumer won an All City. I suppose we manage this sort of coincidence by sheer weight of numbers. I think @Dave_Cobblemonster appreciates it that we always turn up mob handed.

Greetings folks,
I know there is a lot of uncertainty about something called Brexit and how it is going to effect us with new controls coming in.
Dave - as our chief negotiator ...... please can I ask you to let me know whether we will actually be able to go north of the river for this ride?
I am prepared to bring my passport obviously and I realise that we may have to form a long queue to get over Waterloo bridge.
Thankfully there is a person on here called @Backstop .... I keep hearing that the Backstop is going to be the key to these important negotiations , so if you wouldn't mind riding at the front of the peleton that would be really helpful.
Peace, love and fingers crossed....,
Tim

I gather I have something to do with the Irish, so I will drink as much Guiness as prudent.
Have you never ridden it before? It's the best ride in London...
