Aye, totally understand. I really really wanted to tick the sub 200g box. Aesthetics too. The idea that carbon bars might transmit less buzz into my wrists too(not sure I really notice any difference on current bars).
I'd be tempted by genuine carbon bars again but its just the price vs alloy. My heart sank when I realised bars had cracked. Not only had I looked a massive tit in front of 20 people at train station, I was also £200 out of pocket.
