Sundays are hard work

Surely if you are a cat, every day is like Sunday?

So this is going to sound a bit awakard and I think I have found out what's what.

I was going to give Patch her monthly flea drop and so I opened a new pack - they are 4 in a pack and the 12 months cycle always starts in Sept as it's her annual check, so pack 1 covers Sept - Dec, pack 2 covers Jan - Apr etc etc. I have found pack 2 a tube short and I thought I was going mad for a min thinking I'd give Patch her Jan's dose already without making a note and have no recollection doing so...

Then I had a look at how the tubes got taken out, clearly the 'missing tube' has been cut out from the wrapping rather than just using a finger to poke through the tin foil bit. It's been over a month since I bouth the pack, do you think I should go back to the vet and nicely challenge them?

Everybody knows me there and I have spent a good couple of grands there for ops abnd check ups and blood tests and teeth cleaning and whatnots etc etc...

They are expensive stuff after all...

when i had 2 cats the first time round (brother and sister) they would go hammer and tongue sometimes at each other but without claws - apart from when they were climbing up furniture, curtains, leg, hair etc obvs.

Trying to explain to someone, as being shown by two different vets is not enough.

It's pretty straightforward if there are 2 of you, one person holds the cat and then all the person applying has to do its make a parting in the hair at the scruff so you have a straight line of skin a couple of cm's long exposed then apply the treatment directly to the skin. You're going to get alot on the fur no matter what you do but make a few different partings around the scruff so you can apply as much directly to the skin as possible.

Got the builders in to renovate the basement after a flood last summer. Dizzy is hiding under the bed, where I suspect she’ll remain daytimes for the next two weeks.
