Yeah, I've been reading and watching a lot of youtube videos about this little run around. There is an optional range extender to top up the battery.,unlike the puris. Granted it is a 0.6 little engine but it serves it's purpose to provide range to the electric car for another 50 miles (I think).
Also in keeping with traditional BMW this is still a rear wheel drive, granted on very skinny/comical wheels, so probably no silly drifting/sideway action from this little bug.
So probably be burnt to death by bringing this subject to this thread, but anyone used or owned BMW i3? Currently my dad has a 2002 Toyota previa which we used during our take away days in Kent. Unfortunately it was a 2.2 litre petrol which drank petrol like it was water and now we live in London with the up and coming ultra emission zone I thought it would be about time to move with the times as we don’t own a take away so therefore we don’t need to carry groceries or stock anymore and the idea to get a electric/hybrid car for the city and occasional drive back down to Kent. Thoughts?
